WHY VEGAN?

The 3 main reasons that most people go vegan are Health, Environment, and  Compassion.

Health.

Let’s start selfishly with health. I say selfishly but not in a bad way, because worrying about your health (and then doing something about it) is one of the most selfishly good for you acts that a person can do. I look around this great country of ours and I see a lot of health problems that we could eliminate , or at least mitigate, if more people embraced  being vegan. We could declare ourselves free of the heart disease and diabetes that have been plaguing our society almost overnight . Break free from those mental chains that have you eating like shit and are killing you slowly, America!!!

 Environment

It always makes me laugh when I meet so-called environmentalists that still eat meat. Animal Agriculture is one of the biggest polluters of the world, and has been contributing to climate change in a big way. Now that’s a really inconvenient truth.  Since Al Gore went vegan in 2013 I can’t talk too much shit about him. He pretty much sums it up in the 2009 interview he did for Lateline “It’s absolutely correct that the growing meat intensity of diets around the world is one of the issues connected to this global crisis, not only because of the CO2 involved but also because of the water consumed in the process.”

Compassion.

You can spin it any way you want, but eating animals sucks.  It is time to set yourself free from this unnecessary cycle of death.
